First batch of AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ Pro workstations
Our first batch of AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ Pro workstations are now complete.
We have just completed a batch of six AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ Pro workstations and delivered to customer. They are now in service alongside the previous generation workstations.
Our first batch of AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ Pro 5965WX powered workstations are now with our customer helping them to investigate and solve cases even faster than before. Combined with the Fractal Design Define XL R2 and Noctua NH-U14S this system is ultra-quiet whilst keeping the 24 core (48 thread) processor cool. These processors have a base clock of 3.8GHz which, when combined with the 256GB DDR4 3200MHz ECC RAM, allow these systems to speed through intensive tasks with ease.
This workstation also has a great combination of SSD and HDD storage, with a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD for the OS drive, a Samsung PM1735 3.2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for indexing cases, and two Seagate EXOS X18 18TB SATA HDD's.
For GPU-intensive tasks such as brute-forcing passwords, hashing, and decryption the system also has a GeForce RTX 3080Ti 12GB graphics card.
